September 1, 1915 -- Fire Station Property Acquired from Louis Belz

October 3, 1916 -- 30 Inch Fire Bell Purchased

March 25, 1922 -- Chemical Tanks Motorized

February 6, 1923 -- Fire Station Wired For Electicity

July 1, 1924 -- Fire Siren Installed

May 15, 1930 -- Water Pumper Purchased and motorized

February 24, 1937 -- Bridgewater Chemical Company Incorporated

1944 - 1945 -- Fire Station rebuilt, Supervision Alfred Chapin

September 13 1949 -- Fire Protection District Formed

November 23, 1949 -- Name Changed to "Bridgewater Fire Company, Inc."

October 3, 1951 -- Two-Way Radio w/County Mutual Aid Installed

May 7, 1953 -- Siren Quick Call Installed

June 20, 1965 -- 1965 Ford Pumper Purchased

October 15, 1968 -- 1968 Ford Tanker 1500 gallons purchased for $15,300

1974 -- 1974 GMC Step Van Purchased for $6500

June 1977 -- Fireman's Pavilion Built on Route 8 $12,000

July 8, 1980 -- Fireman's Beer Pavilion built for $7,000 compliments of Bridewater Ladies Aux

March 17, 1981 -- 1962 Chevy Pumper Purchased for $5,001

September 1984 -- West Winfield Ambulance district Jaws of Life housed at Bridgewater Fire House compliments of Fund Drive sponsored by Les Duh

1985 -- 2 Acres of Land on Route 20 purchased from Bill Williams

1986 -- New Fire House Built on Route 20 approx 1/4 miles west of route 8

December 1988 -- 1976 Chevy Purchased for $1 from the West Winfield Ambulance District for rescue 1

March 1989 -- 24x30 Storage and walk in cooler built for $10,000

April 5, 1990 -- 1990 GMC American Eagle Pumper / Tanker Purchased for $105,000 (Still Inservice 353)

1991 -- Purchased 55 watt Generator & IBM computer system

December 1992 -- Purchased Land next to Fire House for $4,500

March 1993 -- Rescue 1 was upgraded from ILS level to ALS level.

March 1993 -- Purchased 1990 winneabago Salvage to replace 1974 GMC Van (Still Inservice 359)

May 9, 1994 -- ALS Ambulance was added to the Bridgewater Fire District - 1988 Ford Wheeled Coach Ambulance purchased for $15,000

April 1995 - Ambulance upgraded from ALS level to Paramedic Level

May 1996 -- Ambulance was replaced with a 1995 Wheeled Coach Ambulance purchased for $59,000

October 1997 -- 1997 Ford Saulsbury Tanker / Pumper purchased for $135,000 (Still Inservice 354)

August 2001 -- Ambulance was replaced with 2001 Wheeled Coach Ambulance purchased for $82,000 

August 2001 -- Rescue 1 was replaced with 1995 Wheeled Coach, previous ambulance (Still Inservice R-1)

September 2001 -- 1997 F-350 support / plow truck purchased (Still inservice 355)

December 2002 -- Home Alert radio system installed

December 2004 -- 34' X 60' Addition Built

December 2004 -- 20K Guardian Generator Installed

April 2005 --  Addition Built, New Meeting Room & 6th Truck Bay

May 2005 -- 2005 E450 Type IIIL Ambulance By Excellance, Inc. purchased for $115,000. (Still Inservice 358)

December 2005 -- New 12 set air bag system and stabilizing struts purchased.

August 2007 -- Delivery of Kiddy Mobile Fire Trainer T-4000
